The Gibson Hummingbird Special is a fresh take on one of Gibson’s most iconic acoustic guitars. Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, it features a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, delivering a warm, balanced tone with impressive dynamic range. The concert depth body is slightly thinner than the standard Hummingbird, making it more comfortable to hold while tightening up the bass response.
The round-profile utile neck, rosewood fretboard, and traditional belly-up bridge offer smooth playability, while Grover Rotomatic tuners provide reliable tuning stability. The L.R. Baggs Element Bronze under-saddle pickup amplifies this guitar’s beautiful tones!
